Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is a fun 13 week study on how to systematically get out of debt, how to save, invest and develop a spending plan that really works. The program is a biblically based accountability curriculum that teaches you to manage God's money and resources in a godly way. It empowers you to make the right financial decisions to achieve your financial goals, teaching you to eliminate debt, build wealth, and give like never before. The average family that goes through this program reduces their debt by $5,300 and saves $2,700 during the 13 week period. You will learn how to gain the financial control that most people never achieve.
This program is for YOU if:
Your credit cards Are your emergency fund.
- Your tax refund is your savings
- Stock, Bonds, and Mutual Funds are friends you haven’t met yet.
- You’re intrigued by the word “plasectomy”.
- You want to know what God says about money.
This is not a class where you will learn just the theory. This is a hands on class where you will prepare a spending plan, work at getting out of debt, and start on the road to Financial Peace.
The topics that are covered include the importance of savings, cash flow planning, the importance of working together in a relationship and how to handle money, buying only big, big, bargains, dumping debt, understanding investments, understanding insurance, retirement and college planning, real estate and mortgages, careers and extra jobs, collection practices and credit bureaus.
We will be holding two preview sessions to give you more information about the class. The first will be on Sunday August 26th at 7pm and the other on Wednesday August 29th at 7pm. The class will have its first session on Wednesday, September 12th starting at 6:45pm. We will have free child care available. The class will be limited to the first 30 people to sign up. The cost is $90 per family or just $1 per day for the 91 days of the class. The cost includes all books, cds, and other materials.
